Privacy policy
In short
- No accounts. Your progress and settings are stored on your device only.
- The game sends anonymous statistics and crash reports, tied to a random install ID, to services in the EU. You can turn this off: Settings → Anonymous statistics.
- The current version shows no ads and has no advertising SDK.
- We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the game Prioritus (package app.prioritus.game) on Android and iOS, the browser version of the game and this website, prioritus.app. The controller responsible for your data is Lizaveta Stasiukevich, Self-employed, Belarus ("we", "us"). Questions and requests: support@prioritus.app.
2. Data map
Everything the game and this website process, at a glance. The sections below give the details.
| What | Where it goes | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Game progress and settings | Your device only (app storage or the browser's site data) | To save your game | Until you reset progress, clear the site data or uninstall the app |
| Anonymous statistics (game events, random install ID) | PostHog, EU cloud (Frankfurt, Germany) | To understand how the game is played and improve levels and difficulty | 12 months |
| Crash and error reports | Sentry, EU data region (Germany) | To find and fix bugs | 90 days |
| Requests for game content and these pages (IP address, time, file, browser or app version) | Cloudflare (content.prioritus.app, prioritus.app) | To deliver levels, pictures and pages and protect them from abuse | Short-lived security logs kept by Cloudflare |
| Messages you send us | Our mailbox | To answer you | Up to 2 years after the last message |
| Advertising data, only if your version shows ads | The ad network (Google AdMob or Yandex Mobile Ads) | To show the rewarded videos you choose to watch | Under the ad network's policy |
We do not collect your name, email address (unless you write to us), phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, advertising ID or hardware identifiers.
3. On your device
The game saves your progress (levels, pictures in the gallery, coins, boosters), your settings (sound, vibration, language, statistics) and downloaded game content on your device: in the app's private storage on Android and iOS, in the browser's site data (local storage and IndexedDB) on the web. It never leaves your device, except as part of the statistics described below. There are no accounts or cloud saves, so we cannot restore lost progress.
The device also keeps the random install ID and a log of recent game events (up to 1,000), so that statistics collected offline can be sent later. Settings → Reset progress clears your progress; uninstalling the app or clearing the site data removes everything, including the install ID.
4. Anonymous statistics
To see where levels are too hard, where players get stuck and what to improve, the game sends events about play to PostHog (EU cloud, eu.i.posthog.com, servers in Frankfurt, Germany). It is on by default and can be turned off at any time (see Your choices).
What an event contains
- Identifiers: a random install ID, created on the first launch and stored on your device, and a random session ID. They are not linked to your name, account, advertising ID or device hardware. No person profiles are created.
- What happened: app start and session start, screens opened, a level started, won, lost, quit or retried, dead ends and rewinds, boosters and extra slots used, daily gifts, tutorial hints shown, the end of the available levels, settings switched on or off, the app going to the background, content updates (success or an error code) and error messages of the game.
- Game context: level number, its internal key and revision, world, number of moves and seconds in the attempt, coins and rewards, how far you are in the campaign, days since the first launch and the number of launches.
- Technical context: app version, platform (Android, iOS or web), language, version and source of the level content and, for the version on game portals, the distribution channel ("portal").
Like any internet request, the upload reveals your IP address to PostHog. PostHog may use it to estimate an approximate location (country, city); we don't use it to identify you.
5. Crash and error reports
When the game crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Sentry (EU data region, *.ingest.de.sentry.io, Germany). This happens only while statistics are on. A report contains the error and where in the code it happened, the app version, platform, install ID and distribution channel, information about the device and system, such as device model and manufacturer, operating system and version, browser or WebView version, screen size, memory, language and time zone, and a short trail of what the game did just before (for example, buttons tapped, the game's own network requests and log messages). In the Android app the Sentry SDK also reports crashes of the app's Java layer and adds its own random installation ID.
Sentry is set up without personal data: the option that would add IP addresses and similar details (sendDefaultPii) is off. No screenshots or screen recordings are taken.
6. New levels and pictures
When you are online, the game checks content.prioritus.app for new levels (at most every six hours) and downloads world pictures when it needs them. These requests contain no identifiers. Like any web request they reveal your IP address and the app's or browser's version to the server, which runs on Cloudflare. The same applies to this website. Cloudflare protects both from abuse and may keep short-lived logs of requests (IP address, time, requested file, user agent). We see only aggregated traffic statistics and the firewall's records of blocked requests. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or scripts.
7. Advertising
The current version of Prioritus shows no ads and contains no advertising SDK. Later versions may offer rewarded videos only: you choose to watch one for a bonus. There will be no banners and no ads that interrupt play.
If your version shows ads
The ad network (Google AdMob or Yandex Mobile Ads) then collects data to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud: the device's advertising ID (on iOS only with your permission), IP address, device and app information and how you interact with ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the ad network's consent tool asks for your choice before ads are personalised, and you can change it later in the game's settings. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). We will update this policy before such a version is released.
8. Purchases
The current version has no real in-app purchases. If they are added, payments are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their terms. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase, never your payment details.
9. Game portals and test versions
When you play Prioritus on a game portal (for example CrazyGames), the portal is a separate service with its own privacy policy and may collect data independently of us. Inside the portal the game itself works as described here.
Test versions given to playtesters may show simulated ads and purchases (nothing is charged, no ad network is contacted) and may ask a few optional questions after some levels. The answers you choose or type are sent with the statistics, so please don't type personal information.
10. Legal bases
- Saving your game on your device and delivering game content and this website: necessary to provide the game you asked for, and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Statistics and crash reports: our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f)). The data is pseudonymous, and you can object at any time by turning statistics off.
- Messages to us: to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- Advertising, if your version shows ads: your consent where the law requires it (Art. 6(1)(a)), collected by the ad network's consent tool.
11. Service providers and transfers
We use PostHog (statistics), Sentry (crash reports) and Cloudflare (content delivery, this website) as processors acting on our instructions. PostHog and Sentry store the data in the EU. The providers are US companies and may access data from outside the EEA; such transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We don't sell personal data, don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising and don't pass it to data brokers.
All connections use HTTPS, and downloaded game content is checked against a digital signature before the game uses it.
12. Your choices and rights
- Turn off statistics: Settings (the gear icon) → Anonymous statistics → Off. From then on the game sends neither statistics nor error reports (in the Android app, crash reports of its Java layer stop with the next start), and events waiting on the device are discarded. You can turn it back on at any time.
- Delete local data: reset progress in Settings, clear the site data in your browser or uninstall the app. A new install gets a new random ID.
- Your rights under the GDPR and similar laws: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and withdrawing consent, plus complaining to the data protection authority where you live or work. Write to support@prioritus.app; we reply within one month.
The install ID is random and not linked to who you are, so we usually cannot tell which records are yours (GDPR Art. 11). Write to us anyway and we will do what we can; all records are deleted automatically after the periods in the data map.
Belarus. The operator is located in the Republic of Belarus, so the Law of the Republic of Belarus No. 99-Z of 7 May 2021 “On Personal Data Protection” also applies. Under it you may request information about the processing of your data, access, correction, termination of processing and deletion, and withdraw consent; you may complain to the National Personal Data Protection Center of the Republic of Belarus (cpd.by). Data is transferred to service providers in the EU (PostHog, Sentry), where an adequate level of protection is ensured.
13. Children
Prioritus is made for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes and contact
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the effective date at the top; significant changes will also be announced in the game or its store listing. Contact: Lizaveta Stasiukevich, Self-employed, Belarus, support@prioritus.app.
